Weapons: craft, or get drops from third (or sometimes second) tier Fractal daily chests, raids, and maybe Tequatl. Can also be purchased with raid tokens - 2.5 weeks for a 1-hander, 5 weeks for a 2-hander. Armor: get drops from Fractals, raids, and Teq, same as weapons. Crafting is reliable, but now very expensive. Whether players enjoy the intricate and detailed PvE aspect of the game or the heart-pounding PvP system, everybody needs the best Guild Wars 2 items. I calculated that I have over 200 ascended items that I will not need once the Armoury goes live. I want to know if I should be salvaging it because my bank is full (quite literally) of this soon-to-be-no-longer-useful gear. When I add in all the gear on my characters, it approaches 400 ascended items to potentially be salvaged. The +7 and +9 infusions are refering to the combined agony resistance with stats infusions. They give 7 or 9 agony resistance on top of +5 stats. The return per infusion is hardly worth it and the total cost fpr getting all 14 infusions can easily surpass the cost of a legendary. The maximum you can get to stats per infusion is 5 though. It's likely not the gear and overtime you just got good. The game is easy period, and what you likely remember are times when you didn't have a proper build, didnt understand your profession (s) as well as you do now, didn't know all the mobs etc., and also happened to have worse gear still.
