Because this Prague itinerary is for one day only, I’m going to leave out any suggestions of going inside museums, castle or other attractions. Unless it’s raining or you have a specific interest in a particular museum, there is really not enough time to see everything. And besides, the view of Prague, whilst walking around is truly
Hi, we're heading to Prague for our first visit early April 2011. Am just trying to decide whether to book 3 or 4 nights - can anyone advise, is there enough to see if we have 3 full days there - we'll be arriving by train and not really wanting to make day trips (unless a very short distance by train or bus) as we are already doing a lot of that at other destinations.
The final day of your 3 day Prague itinerary is all about diving deeper into Prague’s history, and appreciating Prague’s future as an arts and culture hub of central Europe. Start your day with a visit to the Jewish Quarter, and spend the afternoon wandering one (or many) museums throughout the city.
It is possible to go through historical centre in even just one day, because everything is so close togehther, but Prague is that beautiful that I think 3 days for someone who has never been there might be even not enough. Hope you'll enjoy our beautiful capital :-)
Visiting The Prague Castle is an obvious (but worthy) option to fill your day. The architecture alone is enough to impress any patron but add in the thousands of years of history and the UNESCO World Heritage site badge of honor and you have yourself a well-rounded historical must-see.
Three days will be long enough to sample the sights and enchanting ambience of the city. Extra days will enable you to venture out of Prague to see a few other interesting areas. Prague in one day - If you have only one day for exploring Prague, then concentrate on the Castle District and the Lesser Town. Prague in two days - Prague in one week
