I'm new to scooters and was thinking about buying one to get around campus/the city (Atlanta). I found a listing for a 2008 Kymco XCiting with 17k miles for $950. The seller posted a video of turning on the bike (although not sure if it's a cold start), and it seems to be running/revving fine. Body also seems relatively in good shape. I think $4000.00 is too much for the scoot. I'm going to look at the Kymco Xciting 500 and Aprila Scarabeo 500 this week. This forum has a lot of good info on it. I have many questions on these scooters. What I want, is a scooter that can cruise at 65 mph, and is inexpensive to maintain. The orange xciting Kymco caught my eye the other day.
