Go one with manual gearbox and M-Sport 2, rustfree and definetly 330i. M-Sport 2 package includes as you said, different suspension setup, different interior (seats, bodykit, sill trims etc. There is no any difference in engines. I recently bought M-Sport 2 330ci from Holland, and it was really expensive.
This BMW 3 Series E46 330i model was produced in the period between Mar-2003 and Mar-2005 model years. Equipped with straight 6 petrol (gasoline) engine with 2979 ccm capacity it produces 231 Hp and 170 kW power at 5900 rpm and 300 Nm torque at 3500 rpm with top claim speed 250 km/h and acceleration 0-100 km/h in 6,5 s.
I used a 330Ci/330i as the base vehicle for horsepower gains. Other models may be similar in gains, but not nearly as extreme as some. Also, keep in mind that by installing two separate items that claim 10 HP, you will not actually see a 20 HP increase, but more of a true 10 HP increase.
